Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Great Buy
I bought 3 of these when they were on sale for $5. I already own 2 sixaxis and 1 DS3. They were a great buy. I love the fact you can use 2 AA batteries (for those who dont have long USB cable) or a rechargeable battery. It comes with a pretty long USB cable but the cable only works with this controller and not the official ps3 controllers. The only con's I see are the fact it is not Blue Tooth. So those with only 2 USB ports will have to use one up if you wana plug one in. I suggest buying a Nyko media hub (2 usb ports and memory card slots). My ps3 has 4 usb slots so this was not a problem even if I wanted to run all 3 controllers at the same time. The white looks amazing and all 3 of mine came with rumble. Great Product!

Rating: 2 out of 5 stars - Battery will not hold charge
I didn't mind it at first. It feels cheap, but it worked ok. Now a few months later, the battery will not hold a charge. I can't even use it plugged in because it's like the battery keeps charging & discharging & it loses connection all the time. It's horrible.

Rating: 1 out of 5 stars - Doesn't work
It looks like I'm not the only reviewer to have problems with these!

I saw them on sale, so I thought, why not pick one up in case I need another controller or two for a multiplayer game?

However, I haven't gotten it to work. I've followed the instructions, but the controller won't hook up with the Playstation 3 console, even after getting a full charge.

I've bought 3rd party controllers for multiple game systems before, including the Playstation 3. This is the first one I've found that doesn't work!

Avoid these...

Rating: 3 out of 5 stars - Decent controller but defective battery
I have this controller for nearly 6 months, and during that time, two rechargeable batteries died on me. Nyko was nice enough to replace it for me, but this is getting to be an inconvenience. Luckily it does come with a battery pack that uses AA battery.
Aside from the battery issue, I like the controller. I believe its ergonomic is better than the PS3 controller. It feels heavier and better suited for me. The rumble pack is nice. It's responsive.
Compare to the SIXAXIS PS3 controller, I believe that its quality is a bit lacking but one cannot complaint too much about its price.
As most of you probably already know, this is not a BT device, so it takes a USB port. It also cannot turn on your PS3; however, this is a minor issue for me.

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Responsive, cheap, wireless, but need to get used to..
I got this controller for almost nothing on black Friday so I find it hard to be overly critical! However, here are my thoughts so far:

pros:
- Wireless controller. The receiver is infra red and the light turns red when you plug it into the ps3. It doesn't look brilliant but it hardly bothered me.

- Responsive. I play a lot of FIFA soccer so I would notice any lag very easily. Well, I didn't notice any lag and the controller is just about on par with the original ps3 controller.

- Cheap. I wasn't prepared to pay ~$50 for an original controller and the previous wired one I was using was slow and took up a usb slot anyway.

(I have not tested out the rumble feature yet so can't put that as a pro)

cons:
- Shape. The controller doesn't feel as good as the original ps3 controller. I found the analogue sticks were a bit too far from the other keys, and often my left thumb would hurt because of the height of the left analogue stick.

- Size. The controller is pretty big and not really made to look much like the original controller!

- Not bluetooth so the receiver occupies a usb slot (I have no problems with this, but some people might)

Overall impressions:
For under $5 I'm happy with the controller. It's a good controller if you want a responsive, wireless controller and don't mind that it that doesn't look or feel like the original ps3 controller in your hand.
