Rating: - works as advertised
These switches are very handy, particularly for light fixtures hidden in closets that are operated by pull cords. Works just as though the switch were connected to the fixture by wire. Not as applicable for exposed bulbs or those in tight spaces due to the size of the adapter that must be screwed in the light socket.

This is great!. I have a wall light fixture over a table that is to high up to reach. So I turn on the light fixture and always leave it on. The bulb socket is screwed into the wall fixture and it has a receptor that gets a wireless signal from a light switch. You don't have to screw it in. You can stick it on a wall with an included sticky pad, or just lay it down on a surface. It's a regular light switch that signals the light to go on or off. I have mine by the entrance door. Yes it does work with a compact florescent. The only problem I see is so far there is no clip on cover available for that kind of bulb.
