Rating: 2 out of 5 stars - So-So Sequel
Without the witty repartee of Geoffrey Rush and Famke Janssen, the sequel falls flat. Some cool effects, but you can say that about a lot of stuff.

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - House of madness,
This sequel is not as bad as the reviewers say it is. For one thing why is anyone concerned with Eddie Baker in the first place. Say he's out there enjoying his millons he won for surviving the night.

Here we are back in the house of madness but this time there are a few greedy hands who will get what they deserve, no spoilers here watch the movie. I liked this movie as much as the first and for different reasons. This movie is a little more bloody, definitely a good thing.

Okay a spoiler,
Sarah did not commit suicide she was murderd as her sister soon finds out that some thugs are looking for something hidden in the house and is worth a lot of money. I agree with S. Kretchiks review who commented on previous reviews about Amanda Righetti (sarah's sister) wearing a semi wet-shirt.......UHM "She may have been wearing a sweater" TRUE!
For those of you who look for that sort of thing in a movie you wont be disappointed! Two is company, three is a crowd but not for one of the female actress in this movie.....enjoy while it lasts.

The Welcome Mat Is Out.
Do Come In.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - 1 star? Pokemon lovers.....
I liked this movie alot and so will anybody else who does'nt compare straight-to-dvd movies with blockbuster golden globe nominees! I thought this movie was awesome. So the,"acting was horrible", yeah-compared to Bruce Campbell! Anyone with an open mind should definently check this movie out. Lots of gore, awesome(final destination) fatalities, and descent acting. Check it out!

Rating: 1 out of 5 stars - Maybe they won't have to kill you because you'll have died from boredom in the first place from being in this house?
Reviewers are right when they say this movie is boring. A bunch of characters walking very slowly around a haunted house, flashlights in their hands, yapping on to each other and occassionally someone dies.
There are many cliches in this film, here are some of them:
-Haunted house is shown at night, therefore dark and supposedly spooky.
-Every single death relies on lots of blood except for one, and the blood looks like red drinking punch you'd find at a teenage party.
-Not much emotion shown from the characters. When one of them dies they are happy to just gawk at the blood and even stand in it whilst they mumble on about whatever stupid trite conversation they're having next.
-Very bad acting all around. Falling into a tub of freezing water with dead bodies floating in it they may as well have fallen into a swimming pool with inner tubes floating there for all the fear they had on their face.
-Scary asylum women all have black hair and black mascara to give a gothic effect to show 'darkness' of their soul (anyone would be scary if they were going to kill you, you don't have to stereotype everything up)

A really lame effort. If you're looking for another version of 'The House On Haunted Hill' (original) then don't bother renting this one out.
If you liked the movie 'Ghost Ship' - you'll love this. It's pretty much exactly the same only without a ship.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - DOES NO ONE UNDERSTAND WHY IT WAS RELEASED STRAIGHT TO DVD
Did anyone watch the HDDVD or Bluray version of this movie? No one is commenting on the "Choose Your Own Adventure" Style known as navigational cinema, If you are watching the movie without watching it on HDDVD im sure you are missing the point, so could someone please write about their views on the Navagational part of the 96 different paths you could take through this movie please.
