- Get the elite insteadThe HDMI is a plus over the standard 360, but the elite has it as well and its hard drive is 80 gigs bigger, so if you really want to buy a beefed up 360, the elite is the way to go.

- The Perfect 360 Console for any Halo Fan!Don't listen to everyone who says that their Halo 3 systems were Dead on Arrival or broken out-of-the-box. They are clearly part of a very small minority and should not deter you from purchasing this product.
That being said, this console really looks awesome. Rather than the boring all-white or black you get from the other systems, this Halo 3 Xbox 360 has Halo 3 insignia that any Halo fan can appreciate. Not only that, but the green and gold theme just looks sweet.
The 20gb hard drive is more than enough for any average gamer. Unless you plan on downloading and keeping every demo on the marketplace, I don't believe you need the 120gb hard drive. But that is always an option if you ever need to upgrade. The system includes an HDMI port (but no HDMI cable), a play-and-charge kit with a rechargeable battery, component cables, an ethernet cable, and everything else that would come with a premium Xbox 360 console.
My Limited Edition Halo 3 console runs perfectly -- it is quiet and remains very cool while playing games. I have had no problems with it.

- Another red ring of death!This is my second Xbox 360. The first one was the core console that I purchased when the 360 first launched. After 6 months, the unit experienced a hardware failure marked by the flashing red ring of death. I sent it in to get it fixed and I was sent a refurbished unit which ended up scratching up my game discs making it unplayable. I did not play the 360 for about a year. When Halo 3 came out, I decided to start from scratch and purchased the Halo Edition Xbox 360. In less than 3 hours of play, the unit succumbed to the flashing red ring of death, again. I was extremely shocked! Either I have the worst luck with the xbox or microsoft has not taken care of the quality issue. I am returning this unit for an exchange and hopefully, I will not experience this again.
Note: My friend has had his xbox 360 for over 2 years without any problems. I guess I have bad luck when it comes to the xbox.

- BEST DEALThe Xbox 360 Halo Edition may be the best deal for halo fans. First you get the cool paint job of Gold / Green . You also get voice headset and battery charge and play kit so you dont have to worry about your batteries dying or buying it seperately. But the best deal may be that the falcon chip and extra heatsink is included making red rings hopefully history.

- This is Absolutey RidiculousI got this My 360 Halo Version yesterday....AND NOW... It doesnt work because it cant read the games anymore...but plays DVD's.....WHAT GIVES Microsoft!!! Why are u guys letting systems get out like this!!!!....NOW i have to send it in for repairs...I only played for 2 Hours at a time and turned it off for about a 45 min break....I'm soo frustraded and disapponted i cant even get to enjoy my system and Halo 3 now. It'll be another month before i see it agian after they get the repairs done....almost makes me wanna get my money back....well for u guys that got the good ones...enjoy.
